     Lieutenant James Sinclair was the son of Captain Patrick Sinclair and Anne Sutherland.2 He died on 21 July 1801, killed in action, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy.1

     George Sinclair was baptised on 11 February 1749.1 He was the son of James Sinclair of Durran and Elizabeth Dunbar.2 He married Elizabeth Sutherland, daughter of John Sutherland, 13th of Forse, on 19 September 1775.1 He died on 6 December 1779 at age 30.1
     He was Writer to the Signet (W.S.).1
