Eustace Buffett Christian was born on 26 June 1869 at Norfolk Island.1 He was the son of Ephraim Christian and Pauline Adams.1 He married Christiana Lara McCoy, daughter of Philip McCoy and Sarah Quintal, on 19 June 1889 at Norfolk Island.1 He died on 17 October 1944 at age 75 at Norfolk Island.1
Eustace Buffett Christian also went by the nick-name of Coopa. He served as 9th President (1924-28) and 12th President (1934) of the Norfolk Executive Council. In the latter case, he was appointed to fill the position after the incumbant stepped down, and served until a new President could be elected.1
