     Sir Maunce Charles O'Connell was born on 13 January 1812.1 He was the son of Sir Maurice Charles Philip O'Connell and Mary Bligh.2 He married Eliza Emily le Geiyt, daughter of Colonel Philip le Geiyt.1 He died on 23 March 1879 at age 67, without issue.1 He was buried at Toowong Cemetery, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.3
     Sir Maunce Charles O'Connell was commissioned, in the service of the 73rd Regiment.1 He was commander of the New British Auxiliary Legion in Spain in 1837.1 He was Military Secretary to his father in New South Wales between 1838 and 1846.1 He retired from the military in 1846.1 He held the office of President of the Legislative Council [Queensland] between 1861 and 1879.1 He was invested as a Knight Bachelor in 1868.1

     William Bligh O'Connell was born on 5 September 1814.1 He was the son of Sir Maurice Charles Philip O'Connell and Mary Bligh.2 He married Mary Australia Jones, daughter of Richard Jones, on 3 September 1844.1 He died on 20 July 1858 at age 43.1
     William Bligh O'Connell gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 73rd Regiment.1 He was Commissioner of of Lands for Queensland.1

     Mary Australia Jones was born on 2 June 1825 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.1 She was the daughter of Richard Jones.1 She married William Bligh O'Connell, son of Sir Maurice Charles Philip O'Connell and Mary Bligh, on 3 September 1844.2 She died on 20 July 1858 at age 33.1
     From 3 September 1844, her married name became O'Connell.
