     Edward Douglas Coke, 7th Earl of Leicester of Holkham was born on 6 May 1936 at Zimbabwe.1 He was the son of Anthony Louis Lovel Coke, 6th Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Moyra Joan Crossley.1 He married, firstly, Valeria Phyllis Potter, daughter of Leonard A. Potter, on 28 April 1962.1 He and Valeria Phyllis Potter were divorced in 1985.1 He married, secondly, Sarah Forde, daughter of Noel Henry Boys Forde and Pamela Cathleen Brinton, in 1986.1 He died on 25 April 2015 at age 78.2
     He was educated at St. Andrew's College, Grahamstown, Cape Province, South AfricaG.1 He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Leicester of Holkham, co. Norfolk [U.K., 1837] in 1994.1 He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Coke [U.K., 1837] in 1994.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk.2 He lived in 2003 at Holkham Hall, Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 2005.2

     Valeria Phyllis Potter is the daughter of Leonard A. Potter.1 She married Edward Douglas Coke, 7th Earl of Leicester of Holkham, son of Anthony Louis Lovel Coke, 6th Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Moyra Joan Crossley, on 28 April 1962.1 She and Edward Douglas Coke, 7th Earl of Leicester of Holkham were divorced in 1985.1
     Her married name became Coke.

     Lady Dorothy Legge was born on 24 June 1883.1 She was the daughter of William Heneage Legge, 6th Earl of Dartmouth and Lady Mary Coke.1 She married Colonel Francis Hugo Lindley Meynell, son of Hon. Frederick George Lindley Meynell and Lady Mary Susan Félicie Lindsay, on 3 October 1907.1 She died on 28 July 1974 at age 91.1
     Her married name became Meynell. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.1
