     Vice-Admiral William Acton was born on 25 March 1825.1 He was the son of Charles Acton and Zoe d'Albon.1 He married Mary Ramirez, daughter of Marquis unknown Ramirez.1 He died in 1896.1
     Vice-Admiral William Acton gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in the service of the Italian Navy.1 He held the office of Minister of Marine.1
