     Charles Acton was born in 1783.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Joseph Edward Acton and Eleanore Gräfin Berghe von Trips.1 He married Zoe d'Albon, daughter of Count (?) d'Albon, on 12 April 1817.1 He died on 11 October 1863.1
     Charles Acton gained the rank of Commodore in the service of the Royal Neapolitan Navy.1
