     Ralph Blakiston was born on 1 April 1861.1 He was the son of John Richard Blakiston and Marie Simon.1 He married, firstly, Ellen Ann Fell Walker, daughter of Reverend Robert Walker, on 18 April 1889.1 He married, secondly, Rosemary Gore, daughter of Edmund Gore, in 1916.1 He died on 27 December 1936 at age 75.1
