     William James Boreel was born on 2 October 1804.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. William Francis Boreel and Catharine Anne Fagel.1 He died on 16 September 1824 at age 19.1

     William Walter Astor Boreel was born on 20 November 1838.1 He was the son of Francis Robert Boreel and Sarah Shelburne Langdon.1 He married Mary Emily Milbanke-Huskisson, daughter of Sir John Milbanke-Huskisson, 8th Bt., on 19 April 1866.1 He died on 24 September 1892 at age 53.1
     William Walter Astor Boreel held the office of Chamberlain to the King of the Netherlands, King Willem III.1
