     Thomas Scrope, 10th Lord Scrope of Bolton was born circa 1567.1 He was the son of Henry Scrope, 9th Lord Scrope of Bolton and Margaret Howard.3,1 He married Philadelphia Carey, daughter of Henry Carey, 1st Baron Hunsdon of Hunsdon, circa 1584.4 He died on 2 September 1609.1
     He gained the title of 10th Lord Scrope of Bolton.

     Philadelphia Carey was the daughter of Henry Carey, 1st Baron Hunsdon of Hunsdon.1 She married Thomas Scrope, 10th Lord Scrope of Bolton, son of Henry Scrope, 9th Lord Scrope of Bolton and Margaret Howard, circa 1584.1 She died on 3 February 1626/27.1
      From circa 1584, her married name became Scrope.1

      From 16 June 1881, her married name became Boreel.1
