Sir Francis David Boreel, 13th Bt. was born on 14 June 1926.1 He was the son of Sir Alfred Boreel, 12th Bt. and Countess Reiniera Adriana Schimmelpenninck.1 He married Suzanne Julie Campagne, daughter of Willy Campagne, on 14 August 1964.1 He died on 24 March 2001 at age 74.1
Sir Francis David Boreel, 13th Bt. was educated at Utrecht University, Utrecht, The Netherlands.1 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the service of the Regiment Huzaren van Boreel.1 He succeeded to the title of 13th Baronet Boreel, of Amsterdam, in Holland [E., 1645] on 20 August 1964.1 He was Counsellor of Press and Cultural Affairs, Netherlands Foreign Service between 1966 and 1987.1
