     Andrew James Woods Ballard was born on 19 March 1976.¹ He is the son of William Richard Woods Ballard and Marianne Jean Elspeth Arbuthnott.¹
     Andrew James Woods Ballard graduated from University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).² He graduated from University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Master of Science (M.Sc.).²

     Archibald Arbuthnott was born on 8 July 1898.¹ He was the son of Hugh Corsar Arbuthnott and Marianne Gibson.¹ He married Barbara Joan Worters, daughter of John Hughman Worters, on 18 September 1931.¹ He died on 12 March 1977 at age 78.¹
     Archibald Arbuthnott was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1917 in the service of the Royal Engineers.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1917 and 1918, where he was severely wounded.¹ He was a chartered accountant.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Malay States Volunteer Forces.¹ He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1946.¹

     Barbara Joan Worters was the daughter of John Hughman Worters.¹ She married Archibald Arbuthnott, son of Hugh Corsar Arbuthnott and Marianne Gibson, on 18 September 1931.¹ She died on 22 September 1988.²
     From 18 September 1931, her married name became Arbuthnott.¹ She lived in 1999 at The Mill House, Tidmarsh, Berkshire, England.¹

     
     John Hughman Worters lived at The White House, Chipstead, Surrey, England.¹

     John Arbuthnott was born on 21 May 1933.¹ He is the son of Archibald Arbuthnott and Barbara Joan Worters.¹ He married Ann Garton, daughter of Arthur Frederick Garton, on 7 April 1956.¹
     John Arbuthnott was educated at Sedbergh School, Sedbergh, Cumberland, England.¹ He graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1955 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ He graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1960 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He lived in 1999 at The Old Rectory, Llangynhafel, Denbighshire, Wales.¹

     Sir Henry Portman, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir John Portman, 1st Bt.. He married Lady Anne Stanley, daughter of Sir William Stanley, 6th Earl of Derby and Lady Elizabeth de Vere, on 20 July 1615.¹ He died on 12 February 1620/21, without issue.¹
     Sir Henry Portman, 2nd Bt. gained the title of 2nd Baronet Portman, of Orchard Portman, Somerset.

     Stanley Kerr was the son of Sir Robert Kerr, 1st Earl of Ancram and Elizabeth Murray.¹ He died before May 1672.¹
     Stanley Kerr was also known as Stanley Carr.¹

     Vere Kerr was the daughter of Sir Robert Kerr, 1st Earl of Ancram and Lady Anne Stanley.

     Ann Garton is the daughter of Arthur Frederick Garton.¹ She married John Arbuthnott, son of Archibald Arbuthnott and Barbara Joan Worters, on 7 April 1956.¹
     From 7 April 1956, her married name became Arbuthnott.¹

     Elizabeth Kerr was the daughter of Sir Robert Kerr, 1st Earl of Ancram and Lady Anne Stanley.
