     Sir Thomas Brocklebank, 1st Bt. was born on 24 November 1814.1 He was the son of Wilson Fisher and Anne Brocklebank.1 He married Anne Robinson, daughter of Joseph Robinson, on 4 June 1844. He died on 8 June 1906 at age 91.1
     Sir Thomas Brocklebank, 1st Bt. was baptised with the name of Thomas Fisher.1 On 5 December 1845 his name was legally changed to Thomas Brocklebank by Royal License.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cumberland in 1864.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cumberland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cumberland.1 He was created 1st Baronet Brocklebank, of Greenlands and Irton Hall, Cumberland [U.K.] on 22 July 1885.1
