     Catherine Vyse was the daughter of Reverend William Vyse and Catherine Smallbrooke.1,2 She married Sir George Smith, 1st Bt., son of Abel Smith and Jane Beaumont, on 23 February 1768.1 She died on 21 February 1786, without issue.1 She was buried at East Stoke, Nottinghamshire, England.2
     From 23 February 1768, her married name became Smith.1
