Sir Henry Bromley, 5th Bt. was born on 6 August 1849.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Bromley, 4th Bt. and Charlotte Frances Anne Rolleston.1 He married Adela Augusta Richards, daughter of Westley Richards and Emma Fane, on 23 January 1873 at East Stoke, Nottinghamshire, England.2 He died on 11 March 1905 at age 55.1
Sir Henry Bromley, 5th Bt. gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Nottinghamshire Yeomany Cavalry (formerly 27th Foot).1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Smith, of East Stoke, co. Nottingham [G.B., 1757] on 21 September 1895.1
