     Sir Henry Brooke, 1st Bt. was born in 1611.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Brooke and Katherine Neville.1 He married Mary Pusey, daughter of Timothy Pusey, circa 1635.2 He died in 1664.1
     Sir Henry Brooke, 1st Bt. gained the rank of Colonel in 1643 in the service of the Parliamentary Army.3 He held the office of Sheriff of Cheshire between 1644 and 1647.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cheshire between 1654 and 1656.1 He was created 1st Baronet Brooke, of Norton Priory, co.      Sir Richard Brooke, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1635.2 He was the son of Sir Henry Brooke, 1st Bt. and Mary Pusey.1 He married Francisca Posthuma Legh, daughter of Dr. Thomas Legh and Lettice Calveley, in April 1656 at Frodsham, Cheshire, England.2 He died in February 1709/10.1
     Sir Richard Brooke, 2nd Bt. matriculated at St. Mary Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 3 May 1652.2 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Brooke, of Norton Priory, co. Chester [E., 1662] in 1664.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Cheshire from 1667 to 1668.1
     He had four younger sons, and two other daughters.1

     Sir Thomas Brooke, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1664.2 He was the son of Sir Richard Brooke, 2nd Bt. and Francisca Posthuma Legh.1 He married Grace Wilbraham, daughter of Roger Wilbraham and Alice Wilbraham, on 12 July 1688. He died in 1739.1 He was buried at Runcorn, Cheshire, England.2
     Sir Thomas Brooke, 3rd Bt. matriculated at Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 25 June 1685.2 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Brooke, of Norton Priory, co. Chester [E., 1662] in February 1709/10.1 He held the office of Governor of Chester Castle.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Cheshire from 1719 to 1720.2
     He had five other sons and two daughters.1

     Sir Richard Brooke, 5th Bt. was born circa 1753.2 He was the son of Sir Richard Brooke, 4th Bt. and Frances Patten.1 He married Mary Cunliffe, daughter of Sir Robert Cunliffe, 2nd Bt. and Mary Wright, on 4 May 1780 at Chester, Cheshire, England.2 He died on 6 March 1795.1 He was buried at Runcorn, Cheshire, England.2
