Reverend John Brougham was baptised on 2 July 1748.1 He was the son of Henry Brougham and Mary Freeman.1 He married Sarah Scanlan, daughter of James Scanlan and Anne Babington, on 17 October 1785.1 He died on 22 May 1811 at age 62.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was a Fellow between 1770 and 1778 at King's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He graduated from King's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1775 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was the Rector at Bailieborough, Ireland.1 He was the Rector at Ballyhaise, Ireland.1
