     Mary Freeman was born circa 1714.¹ She was the daughter of William Freeman.¹ She married Henry Brougham, son of Samuel Brougham. She died in 1807.¹
      Her married name became Brougham.¹

     William Freeman graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).¹

     Reverend John Brougham was baptised on 2 July 1748.¹ He was the son of Henry Brougham and Mary Freeman.¹ He married Sarah Scanlan, daughter of James Scanlan and Anne Babington, on 17 October 1785.¹ He died on 22 May 1811 at age 62.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was a Fellow between 1770 and 1778 at King's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He graduated from King's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1775 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He was the Rector at Bailieborough, Ireland.¹ He was the Rector at Ballyhaise, Ireland.¹

     Sarah Scanlan was the daughter of James Scanlan and Anne Babington.¹ She married Reverend John Brougham, son of Henry Brougham and Mary Freeman, on 17 October 1785.¹ She died on 24 March 1843.¹
      From 17 October 1785, her married name became Brougham.¹

     James Scanlan lived at Ballyshannon, County Donegal, Ireland.¹

     Anne Babington is the daughter of Richard Babington.¹

     Richard Babington lived at Marble Hill, County Donegal, Ireland.¹

     Sarah Eleanor Brougham was born in 1820.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Brougham, 1st Baron Brougham and Vaux and Mary Anne Eden.¹ She died, in infancy.¹

     Hon. Eleanor Louisa Brougham was born in October 1822.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Brougham, 1st Baron Brougham and Vaux and Mary Anne Eden.¹ She died on 30 November 1839 at age 17.¹

     James Brougham was born on 16 January 1780.¹ He was the son of Henry Brougham and Eleanor Syme.¹ He died on 24 December 1833 at age 53, without issue.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tregony in 1826.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Downton in 1829.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Winchelsea in 1831.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kendal in 1832.¹ He was Registrar of Affadavits, and Clerk of Letters Patent.¹
