     He was educated at St. Catharine's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Massingberd [E., 1660] in 1719. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire between 1721 and 1723.1
