     From June 1898, her married name became Morland.1

     Lt.-Cdr. Hon. Byron Plantagenet Cary was born on 25 January 1887.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Byron Plantagenet Cary, 12th Viscount Falkland and Mary Reade.1 He died on 16 September 1917 at age 30, killed at sea.1
     Lt.-Cdr. Hon. Byron Plantagenet Cary fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1
