     Sir John Edmond de Beauvoir, 2nd Bt. was born on 10 December 1794.¹ He was the son of Sir John Edmond Browne, 1st Bt. and Margaret Lorinan.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Wright, daughter of Richard Wright, between 1825 and 1826.¹ He married, secondly, Laetitia Mann, daughter of Reverend Charles Mann and Susanna MacDougal, on 16 March 1867.¹ He died on 29 April 1869 at age 74 at Upper Gloucester Place, Marylebone, London, England, without issue.¹
     Sir John Edmond de Beauvoir, 2nd Bt. was baptised with the name of John Edmond Browne.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the service of the 26th Foot.¹ On 14 October 1826 his name was legally changed to John Edmond Browne by Royal Licence.¹ He was invested as a Knight on 9 March 1827.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Windsor between 1835 and 6 April 1840.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Browne, of Palmerstown, co. Mayo [I., 1797] on 5 September 1835.¹

     Sir Francis Michael Ian Bruce of Stenhouse, 12th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Michael.² He was educated at Forman School, Litchfield, Connecticut, U.S.A..² He fought in the Second World War, in the U.S. Marine amphibious forces.² He was a partner of Gossard-Bruce Company in 1953.² He was owner of the American Maritime Company, and The Eye Witness (a legal photograph service) in 1956.² He succeeded to the title of 12th Baronet Bruce, of Stenhouse [N.S., 1628] on 20 May 1957.¹ He was registered as a Master Mariner in 1968.² He lived in 2003 at 34 Cormorant Circle, Newport Beach, California, U.S.A..²

Lynch.¹ She married Sir Francis Michael Ian Bruce of Stenhouse, 12th Bt., son of Sir Michael William Selby Bruce of Stenhouse, 11th Bt. and Doreen Dalziel Greenwell, on 21 August 1947.¹ She and Sir Francis Michael Ian Bruce of Stenhouse, 12th Bt. were divorced in 1957.¹
