     Magdalen Scott was the daughter of David Scott.2 She married, firstly, George Clerk.1 She married, secondly, Sir William Bruce of Kinross, 1st Bt., son of Robert Bruce and Catherine Preston, on 9 September 1700.3 She died on 21 April 1710, without issue.4
      Her married name became Clerk.1 She was also known as Magdalen Scot.3 From 9 September 1700, her married name became Bruce.3
