     Dr. Vivian Richard Bruce was born in 1919.1 He is the son of Robert Cathcart Bruce and Emma Dorothy Croce.1 He married, firstly, Norah Maeve Yates in 1942.1 He married, secondly, Bernadette Yates in 1962.1 He and Bernadette Yates were divorced in 1983.1 He married, thirdly, Valerie Florence May Bruce Baylis, daughter of Nelson Fitzroy Baylis, in 1983.1
     Dr. Vivian Richard Bruce graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.).1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal College of General Practitioners (F.R.C.G.P.).1 He lived in 2003 at Lindavanally, 25a George Douglas Drive, Ryedale, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.1
