     Sir Edward Francis Lauder Brunton, 3rd Bt. was born on 10 November 1916 at Montreal, Quebec, Canada.^1,2 He was the son of Sir James Stopford Lauder Brunton, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Bonsall Porter.¹ He married Marjorie Grant Lewis, daughter of David Sclater Lewis, on 30 December 1946.¹ He died on 1 January 2007 at age 90 at Burlington, Ontario, Canada.²

     From 1 July 1967, her married name became Brunton.

     Douglas Lauder Brunton was born in 1968.¹ He is the son of Sir James Lauder Brunton, 4th Bt. and Susan Elizabeth Hons.¹ He married Jennifer Leat.²

     Jennifer Anne Brunton was born in 1971.¹ She is the daughter of Sir James Lauder Brunton, 4th Bt. and Susan Elizabeth Hons.¹
