     Elizabeth Topham Richardson was the daughter of John Topham Richardson.2 She married, firstly, Major Sir Alexander Penrose Gordon-Cumming of Altyre, 5th Bt., son of Lt.-Col. Sir William Gordon Gordon-Cumming of Altyre, 4th Bt. and Florence Josephine Garner, on 9 September 1924.2 She married, secondly, John Duncan Vaughan Campbell of Cawdor, 5th Earl Cawdor of Castlemartin, son of Hugh Frederick Vaughan Campbell of Cawdor, 4th Earl Cawdor of Castlemartin and Joan Emily Mary Thynne, on 29 June 1961.1 She died in 1985.3
      From 9 September 1924, her married name became Gordon-Cumming. As a result of her marriage, Elizabeth Topham Richardson was styled as Countess Cawdor of Castlemartin on 29 June 1961. From 29 June 1961, her married name became Campbell.

     Major Hugo Douglas Tweedie was the son of John Tweedie.1 He married Moyra Eileen Montagu Douglas Scott, daughter of Lt.-Col. Lord Sir Francis George Montagu Douglas Scott and Lady Eileen Nina Evelyn Sibell Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, on 28 February 1942.1 He died on 8 April 1945 at Western Europe, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Scots Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Horse Guards (Blues and Royals).1 He lived in 2003 at Butterhall, Minto, Hawick, Roxburghshire, Scotland.1

     Colonel David de Crespigny Smiley was born on 11 April 1916.2 He is the son of Major Sir John Smiley, 2nd Bt. and Valerie Champion de Crespigny.1,2 He married Moyra Eileen Montagu Douglas Scott, daughter of Lt.-Col. Lord Sir Francis George Montagu Douglas Scott and Lady Eileen Nina Evelyn Sibell Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, on 28 April 1947.1
     He was educated at Nautical College, Pangbourne, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.)
