     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He was educated at Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Beecham, of Ewanville, Huyston, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1914] in 1982, although he does not use this title.1 He lived at Shalom, Station Road, Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire, England.1

     He held the office of Mayor of St. Helens, Lancashire in 1899.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire.1 He was invested as a Knight, Order of St. Stanislaus of Russia.2 He held the office of Mayor of St. Helens, Lancashire between 1910 and 1911.1 He was invested as a Knight in 1912.1 He was created 1st Baronet Beecham, of Ewanville, Huyston, co. Lancaster [U.K.] on 17 July 1914.1
