     Mary Buchan is the daughter of Major James Buchan, 11th of Auchmacoy and Mary Forbes.1 She married James Gordon, 1st of Banchory, son of James Gordon, 1st of Ardmealie, on 13 April 1739.1
     From 13 April 1739, her married name became Gordon.1

     James Gordon, 1st of Banchory was the son of James Gordon, 1st of Ardmealie.1 He married Mary Buchan, daughter of Major James Buchan, 11th of Auchmacoy and Mary Forbes, on 13 April 1739.1 He died on 6 February 1751.1
