     Maj.-Gen. George Elphinstone Erskine was born on 20 January 1841.1 He was the son of George Keith Erskine and Selina Chambers.2 He married, firstly, Blanche Cates, daughter of George Cates and Harriet Nethersole, on 26 September 1861.1 He married, secondly, Eva Constance Sarah Edwards, daughter of Canon Ebenezer Wood Edwards, on 3 July 1895.1 He died on 12 September 1912 at age 71.1
     Maj.-Gen. George Elphinstone Erskine gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the Bombay Cavalry, Indian Army.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1

     Lt.-Col. Keith Erskine was born on 12 June 1863.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. George Elphinstone Erskine and Blanche Cates.2 He married Mabel Seabrook Dyson, daughter of John Dyson, on 3 November 1892.1 He died on 19 October 1914 at age 51, without issue.2
     Lt.-Col. Keith Erskine gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1900 in the service of the Indian Army.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.).1 He held the office of Consul-General to Baghdad in 1914.2
