     Francis Acton was born on 23 July 1796.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Joseph Edward Acton and Eleanore Gräfin Berghe von Trips.1 He married Esther Fagan, daughter of Robert Fagan, on 2 December 1820.1 He died in 1865.1
     Francis Acton gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the German Legion.1

     Esther Fagan is the daughter of Robert Fagan.1 She married, firstly, William Baker before 1820.1 She married, secondly, Francis Acton, son of Lt.-Gen. Joseph Edward Acton and Eleanore Gräfin Berghe von Trips, on 2 December 1820.1
     From before 1820, her married name became Baker.1 From 2 December 1820, her married name became Acton.1
