Sir Thomas Bunbury, 1st Bt. was the son of Henry Bunbury and Ursula Bayley. He married, secondly, Mary Kelsall, daughter of Humphrey Kelsall.1 He married, firstly, Sarah Chetwode, daughter of John Chetwode and Eleanor Stephenton, before 1657.1 He died on 22 August 1682.1 He was buried at Stoker, Cheshire, England.2
