     David Brodie, 3rd of Lethen was the son of Alexander Brodie, 1st of Lethen and Margaret Clerk.1 He married Marie Haldane, daughter of Sir John Haldane, 11th of Gleneagles and Catherine Wemyss, on 22 April 1658.2 He died in 1683, without issue.1
