     Thomas Stewart, 2nd Lord Innermeath was born before 1461.1 He was the son of Walter Stewart, 1st Lord Innermeath and Margaret Lindsay.1 He married Lady Janet Keith, daughter of William de Keith, 1st Earl Marischal and Marjorie Fraser, before 23 June 1481.1 He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England, killed in action.1
     Thomas Stewart, 2nd Lord Innermeath succeeded to the title of 2nd Lord Innermeath [S., 1469] circa 1488.1 He held the office of Coroner, County Perth in 1492.1 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England.1

     Lady Janet Keith was the daughter of William de Keith, 1st Earl Marischal and Marjorie Fraser.1 She married, firstly, John Leslie, Master of Rothes before 1481.1 She married, secondly, Thomas Stewart, 2nd Lord Innermeath, son of Walter Stewart, 1st Lord Innermeath and Margaret Lindsay, before 23 June 1481.1 She died before 1504.1
     From before 1481, her married name became Leslie.1 From before 23 June 1481, her married name became Stewart.

     Margaret Lindsay was the daughter of John Lindsay, 3rd Lord Lindsay of the Byres and Marion Baillie.1,2 She married Richard Stewart, 3rd Lord Innermeath, son of Thomas Stewart, 2nd Lord Innermeath and Lady Janet Keith, before 1532.1 She married Sir James Stewart, son of Andrew Stewart, 1st Lord Avandale and Margaret Kennedy, before 4 June 1533.1 She died before February 1576/77.1
     As a result of her marriage, Margaret Lindsay was styled as Lady Innermeath before 1532.2
