     Sir Matthew Tomlinson was the son of John Thomlinson and Eleanor Dodsworth.2 He married Pembroke Brooke, daughter of Sir William Brooke and Pembroke Lennard.1 He died on 5 November 1681.1
     He was one of the regicides and a member of Oliver Cromwell's ‘Other House’.1

     Maud Badlesmere was the daughter of Guncelin de Badlesmere and Joan FitzBernard.1 She married Robert Burghersh, 1st Lord Burghersh, son of Reynold Burghersh. She died from 2 January 1305/6 to 1345.1

     Stephen Burghersh, 2nd Lord Burghersh was born circa 1280.1 He was the son of Robert Burghersh, 1st Lord Burghersh and Maud Badlesmere.1 He died in 1309/10, without male issue.1
     Stephen Burghersh, 2nd Lord Burghersh succeeded to the title of 2nd Lord Burghersh [E., 1303] in 1306, although he was never summoned to Parliament.1 On 17 November 1306 he had livery of his father's lands.1
