     His descendants took the name of de Burgh (of West Drayton).2

     John Burke was born in 1713.1 He was the son of John Burke and unknown Maughan.1 He married Mary Carroll, daughter of Michael Carroll, on 16 January 1747/48.1 He died in 1793.1
     He renamed Creggeen Marble Hill.1 He lived at Grallough.1

     Sir John Burgoyne, 1st Bt. was born on 29 January 1591 at Haslingfield, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was the son of Robert Burgoyne and Margaret Wendy.1 He married Jane Kempe, daughter of William Kempe and Philippa Gunter, circa 1617.1 He died circa October 1657.1 He was buried on 9 October 1657 at Sutton, Bedfordshire, England.1
     Sir John Burgoyne, 1st Bt. held the office of Sheriff of Bedfordshire in 1640/41.1 He was created 1st Baronet Burgoyne, of Sutton, co. Bedford [England] on 15 July 1641.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Warwickshire between October 1645 and December 1648.1
