     General Robert William Disney Leith of Glenkindie and Westhall was born on 28 February 1819.1 He was the son of General Sir Alexander Leith of Freefield and Glenkindie and Maria Thorp.1 He married Mary Charlotte Julia Gordon, daughter of Sir Henry Percy Gordon, 2nd Bt. and Lady Mary Agnes Blanche Ashburnham, on 14 June 1865.1 He died on 20 June 1892 at age 73.1
     General Robert William Disney Leith of Glenkindie and Westhall fought in the Persian Gulf Campaign between 1838 and 1841.1 He fought in the Multan Campaign in 1849, where he lost an arm.1 He fought in the Indian Mutiny between 1857 and 1858.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1

     From 1893, her married name became Leith.

     Alexander Leigh Henry Leith, 6th Lord Burgh was born on 16 May 1906.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Alexander Henry Leith, 5th Lord Burgh and Phyllis Goldie.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Rose Vincent, daughter of Arthur Ross Vincent and Maud Bourn, on 6 June 1934.1 He and Elizabeth Rose Vincent were divorced in 1943.1 He married, secondly, Joyce Watts Wilson, daughter of William Wilson Wilson, on 19 May 1947.1 He died on 26 May 1959 at age 53.1
     Alexander Leigh Henry Leith, 6th Lord Burgh was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2 He succeeded to the title of 6th Lord Burgh [E., 1529] on 19 August 1926.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the 1st Battalion, Black Watch.1

     Hon. John Disney Leith was born on 10 August 1909.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Alexander Henry Leith, 5th Lord Burgh and Phyllis Goldie.1 He married Mona Simpson, daughter of C. R. Simpson, on 2 June 1938.1 He died on 15 December 1968 at age 59, killed in a car crash.1
     Hon. John Disney Leith was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England.1
