     Maj.-Gen. James Henry Burke was born on 27 February 1816.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir John Burke, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Mary Calcraft.1 He married Marion Eliza Crispin, daughter of Maj.-Gen. B. Crispin, on 18 May 1852.1 He died on 27 June 1882 at age 66.1
     Maj.-Gen. James Henry Burke gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the Bombay Engineers.1

     From 18 May 1852, her married name became Burke.

     James Henry Thomas Joseph FitzGerald Burke was born on 28 March 1853.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. James Henry Burke and Marion Eliza Crispin.1 He married Edith Comyn, daughter of Captain Powell John Comyn, on 4 September 1878.1 He died on 12 May 1902 at age 49.1
     James Henry Thomas Joseph FitzGerald Burke gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1

     James Howe Campbell Ulick Burke was born on 4 January 1880.1 He was the son of James Henry Thomas Joseph FitzGerald Burke and Edith Comyn.1 He married, firstly, Lilian Maud Whenmouth, daughter of William John Whenmouth, on 12 August 1912.1 He and Lilian Maud Whenmouth were divorced in 1928.1 He married, secondly, Annie Amelia Granville, daughter of James Adolphus Granville, on 31 May 1930.1 He died in 1946.1
     James Howe Campbell Ulick Burke gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Army Service Corps.1
