     Granby James Burke was born on 19 December 1850.1 He was the son of Charles Granby Burke and Emma Jane Creyke.1 He married Agnes Mary Boyd, daughter of Very Rev. A. K. H. Boyd, on 30 November 1888.1 He died on 25 August 1935 at age 84, without issue.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Private Secretary to the Lord Chancellor of Ireland.1 He was Assistant-Examiner and Registrar of the High Court of Justice [Ireland].1
