     Maurice FitzGibbon, 1st White Knight was the son of Sir Gilbert fitz John and Ellen M'Carthy.2 He married Katharine Bruce Hill 1333.3 He died in 1357.2
     Reputedly ktd in Scotland by King Edward.3 He was created 1st White Knight either created by King Edward III after the Battle of Halidon Hill, or by virute of his father's status as a Count Palatine on 19 July 1333.4
