     Lt.-Col. Frederick George North, 8th Earl of Guilford was born on 19 November 1876.³ He is the son of Dudley Francis North, 7th Earl of Guilford and Georgiana Chetwynd.² He married Mary Violet Pawson, daughter of William Hargrave Pawson, on 25 June 1901.³ He died on 9 November 1949 at age 72.³
