     Lieutenant David Clutterbuck was born on 21 September 1890.1 He was the son of Edmund Henry Clutterbuck and Madeline Charlotte Raikes.1 He died on 6 May 1917 at age 26, from wounds received in action.2
     Lieutenant David Clutterbuck was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was with the Chinese Customs at Peking, China.2 He gained the rank of officer in February 1915 in the service of the Royal Field Artillery.2 He fought in the First World War.2
