     Henry Cavendish Butler, 8th Earl of Lanesborough was born on 2 June 1868. He was the son of Captain John Vansittart Danvers Butler, 6th Earl of Lanesborough and Anne Elizabeth Clark. He married, firstly, Isobel Daniell, daughter of Ralph Allen Daniell, on 27 November 1894. He married, secondly, Grace Lilian Abdy, daughter of Captain Sir Anthony Charles Sykes Abdy, 3rd Bt. and Hon. Alexandrina Victoria Macdonald, on 6 December 1917.1 He died on 22 August 1950 at age 82.
     Henry Cavendish Butler, 8th Earl of Lanesborough gained the title of 8th Earl of Lanesborough.

     Isobel Daniell was the daughter of Ralph Allen Daniell. She married Henry Cavendish Butler, 8th Earl of Lanesborough, son of Captain John Vansittart Danvers Butler, 6th Earl of Lanesborough and Anne Elizabeth Clark, on 27 November 1894. She died in 1905.
     Her married name became Butler.

     Freda Butler was born on 8 September 1895. She is the daughter of Henry Cavendish Butler, 8th Earl of Lanesborough and Isobel Daniell. She married Francis Cyril Oliphant Valentine, son of William Roderick Harris Valentine, on 26 March 1931.
     Her married name became Valentine.

     Francis Cyril Oliphant Valentine was the son of William Roderick Harris Valentine. He married Freda Butler, daughter of Henry Cavendish Butler, 8th Earl of Lanesborough and Isobel Daniell, on 26 March 1931. He died on 23 March 1957.

     Hilda Vivien Butler was born on 18 April 1900. She was the daughter of Henry Cavendish Butler, 8th Earl of Lanesborough and Isobel Daniell. She married John William Henry Berkeley Younger, son of Harry George Younger, on 30 April 1921. She died on 14 September 1960 at age 60.
     Her married name became Younger.
