     Richard Long was baptised on 7 April 1668.1 He was the son of Richard Long and Elizabeth Long.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Long, daughter of Thomas Long and Margery Hungerford.1 He married, secondly, Grace Stileman, daughter of John Stileman, on 2 September 1720 at Steeple Ashton, Wiltshire, England.1,2 He died on 19 January 1729/30 at age 61.1
     Richard Long held the office of Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1703.2 He lived at Rood Ashton, Wiltshire, England.1
