Very Rev. Hon. James Wentworth Leigh was born on 21 January 1838.3 He is the son of Chandos Leigh, 1st Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh and Margarette Willes.2 He married Frances Butler, daughter of Pierce Butler and Frances Anne Kemble, on 29 June 1871.1 He died on 5 January 1923 at age 84.3
Very Rev. Hon. James Wentworth Leigh was the Rector at St. Mary's Church, Bryanston Square, Marylebone, London, England.3 He was invested as a Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.).3 He held the office of Dean of Hereford between 1894 and 1919.1 He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).4
