     Ellen Long was born on 11 February 1812 at Corhampton, Hampshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Walter Long and Lady Mary Carnegie.1 She was baptised on 11 March 1812 at St. Thomas Church, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 She died on 21 April 1905 at age 93 at London, England.1

     Captain Charles George Butler was born on 15 October 1793.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Butler, 7th Bt. and Sarah Maria Newenham.2 He married Emily Bayford, daughter of John Heseltine Bayford, on 28 September 1830.1 He died on 1 March 1867 at age 73.1
