     Nicholas Bagenal was born in 1582.2 He is the son of Dudley Bagenal and Katherine Nangle.2 He married Anne Colclough, daughter of Sir Thomas Colclough and Martha Loftus.1 He died in 1607 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in a duel.2
     Nicholas Bagenal lived Dunleckney.3 County Carlow (see IIult family).3 He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1597 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).2 He held the office of Constable of Leighlin Castle between 1597 and 1607.2 He lived at Idrone, County Carlow, Ireland.2 He lived at Ballymoon Castle, County Carlow, Ireland.2
