     David Roden Buxton was born on 26 February 1910.3 He was the son of Charles Roden Buxton and Dorothy Frances Jebb.2 He married, firstly, Annelore Gerstl, daughter of Arnold Gerstl, on 24 September 1939.3 He and Annelore Gerstl were divorced in 1948.3 He married, secondly, Mary Violet Buxton, daughter of W/Cdr. Denis Alfred Jex Buxton and Emily Mary Hollins, on 9 December 1950.3 He died on 17 November 2003 at age 93 at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.4
     David Roden Buxton graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1931 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).3 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1936 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).3 He was in the service of the British Council between 1946 and 1967.3

     Cecilia Rachel Buxton was born on 26 July 1927.1 She was the daughter of W/Cdr. Denis Alfred Jex Buxton and Emily Mary Hollins.2 She married Marcus William Dick, son of Dr. James Reid Dick, on 6 July 1951.1 She and Marcus William Dick were divorced in 1968.1 She died in 1995.1
     Cecilia Rachel Buxton graduated from Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1949 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 From 6 July 1951, her married name became Dick. She was a Fellow at Wolfson College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1
