     Sir John Byrne, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1705.1 He was the son of Sir Daniel Byrne, 2nd Bt. and Anna Dorothea Warren.1 He married Meriel Leicester, daughter of Sir Francis Leicester, 3rd Bt. and Frances Wilson, in 1728.1 He died in January 1741/42 at York, Yorkshire, England.1 He was buried on 2 February 1741/42 at Great Budworth, Cheshire, England.2 His will (dated 6 March 1738) was probated in 1742.2
     Sir John Byrne, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Byrne, of Timogue, Queen's County [I., 1671] on 25 September 1715.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Cheshire between February 1740 and December 1740.1

     Clarence Edward Victor Buxton was born on 14 January 1892.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Fowell Victor Buxton, 4th Bt. and Anne Louisa Matilda O'Rorke.2 He married, firstly, Mary Aline Bradshaw, daughter of Lt.-Col. Frederick Ewart Bradshaw, on 13 December 1917.1 He and Mary Aline Bradshaw were divorced.1 He married, secondly, Mavis Jean Bromhead, daughter of Walter Sydney Bromhead, in 1945.1 He died on 10 October 1967 at age 75.1
     Clarence Edward Victor Buxton was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Field Artillery (SR).1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1
