     Elizabeth Shirley, Baroness Ferrers (of Chartley) was the daughter of Robert Shirley and Catherine Venables.3 She married James Compton, 5th Earl of Northampton, son of George Compton, 4th Earl of Northampton and Jane Fox, on 7 March 1715/16.4 She died on 13 March 1740/41.5
     Elizabeth Shirley, Baroness Ferrers (of Chartley) succeeded to the title of 9th Baroness Ferrers, of Chartley [E., 1299].4 Her married name became Compton.

     Sir Thomas Fowell Victor Buxton, 4th Bt. was born on 8 April 1865.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Fowell Buxton, 3rd Bt. and Lady Victoria Noel.2 He married Anne Louisa Matilda O'Rorke, daughter of Reverend Henry Thomas O'Rorke, on 10 October 1888.1 He died on 31 May 1919 at age 54.1
     Sir Thomas Fowell Victor Buxton, 4th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Victor. He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He gained the rank of Temporary Major in the service of the 2nd Battalion, Essex Volunteer Regiment.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex in 1905.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Buxton, of Bellfield and Runton, co. Essex [U.K., 1840] on 28 October 1915.1

     Mechtild Corisande Renira Mary Gräfin Bentinck was born on 20 December 1877.1 She was the daughter of William Charles Philip Otho Aldenburg-Bentinck, 6th Graf Bentinck and Mary Cornelia de Heeckeren, Baroness de Heeckeren.1 She married Casimir Fürst zu Castell-Rüdenhausen, son of Wolfgang Fürst zu Castell-Rüdenhausen and Emma Prinzessin zu Ysenburg und Büdingen in Büdingen, on 1 September 1905.1 She died on 13 December 1940 at age 62.1
     Her married name became zu Castell-Rüdenhausen.

Charles Anthony Ferdinand Bentinck, 4th Graf Bentinck and Caroline Mechtild Emma Charlotte Christine Luise Gräfin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont.1 He married Helena Agnes Alexandrina Amelia Caroline Gräfin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, daughter of Adalbert Graf zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, on 28 September 1878.1 He and Helena Agnes Alexandrina Amelia Caroline Gräfin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont were divorced in 1885.1 He died on 19 October 1934 at age 81.1
     Charles Renaud Adelbert Bentinck gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Prussian Army.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Teutonic Order.1
