     Herbert Cadman was born on 24 December 1888.1 He was the son of James Cope Cadman and Betty Keeling.2 He married Phyllis Knaggs, daughter of Sir Samuel William Knaggs, on 15 March 1919.1 He died on 4 May 1957 at age 68.1

     Kenneth John Cadman was born on 31 August 1925.1 He is the son of Herbert Cadman and Phyllis Knaggs.2 He married Marie Bates, daughter of David R. Bates, on 12 March 1953.1
     Kenneth John Cadman was educated at Berkhamsted School, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England.3 He fought in the Second World War.3 He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the service of the 208 Squadron, Royal Air Force.1 He graduated from Queen's University, Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland, in 1951 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (Civil Eng).1
