     John Sinclair, Master of Berriedale was the son of William Sinclair, Lord Berriedale and Margaret Sinclair.2 He married Lady Jean Mackenzie, daughter of Colin Mackenzie, 1st Earl of Seaforth and Lady Margaret Seton, circa 17 December 1633.3 He died in September 1639 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, from a fever.4 He was buried at Holyrood House Chapel, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.4
     John Sinclair, Master of Berriedale was styled as Master of Berriedale.1 On 27 July 1633 he had a charter of regrant of the the Earldom, with remainder to himself and the heirs male of his body, failing whom to his father and the latter’s heirs male and assigns whatsoever.1

     Lady Jean Mackenzie was the daughter of Colin Mackenzie, 1st Earl of Seaforth and Lady Margaret Seton.1,2 She married, firstly, John Sinclair, Master of Berriedale, son of William Sinclair, Lord Berriedale and Margaret Sinclair, circa 17 December 1633.3 She married, secondly, Sir Alexander Sutherland, 1st Lord Duffus, son of William Sutherland, before 1644.4 She died on 31 March 1648, in childbirth.2
     From circa 17 December 1633, her married name became Sinclair. From before 1644, her married name became Sutherland.4
     She allegedly had four sons by her second husband.5

     Reverend Patrick Campbell was born in 1633 at Torblaren, Glenaray, Argyllshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of Reverend Dugald Campbell of Knapdale and Margaret Maxwell.1 He married Jean McIver Campbell, daughter of John McIver Campbell and Catherine Robieson, circa 1670.1 He died in 1700.1

     Jean McIver Campbell was born circa 1642 at Lochfyne, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of John McIver Campbell and Catherine Robieson.1 She married Reverend Patrick Campbell, son of Reverend Dugald Campbell of Knapdale and Margaret Maxwell, circa 1670.1 She died circa 1728 at Scotland.1
