     Sir William Goring was the son of John Goring and Constance Dyke.2 He married Elizabeth Covert, daughter of John Covert.1 He died on 2 March 1553.1

     Sir Henry Goring was born in 1521.1 He was the son of Sir William Goring and Elizabeth Covert.2 He married Dorothy Everard, daughter of William Everard.1 He died on 16 December 1594.1
     In 1562 Sheriff of Sussex.3 He held the office of Sheriff of Surrey in 1562.3 He held the office of Sheriff of Sussex in 1569.3 He was invested as a Knight on 21 August 1591.1 He lived at Burton, Sussex, England.1
