     George Goring is the son of William Goring and Margaret Chaloner.2
     He was ancestor of the Gorings of Barcombe and Chailey, Sussex, extinct in the male line by 1735.1

     Sir William Goring, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir Henry Goring and Eleanor Kingsmill.2 He married Eleanor Francis, daughter of Sir Edward Francis.1 He died circa February 1657/58.1 He was buried on 25 February 1657/58.1
     Sir William Goring, 1st Bt. was created 1st Baronet Goring, of Burton, co. Sussex [England] on 14 May 1622.1
